Photography was actually my first passion, dating back to when I was 12 years with a Pentax ME. I have drawers full of pictures buried in my house somewhere that I may get around to scanning someday but, i generally prefer to use a digital camera for everything (despite still owning an Olympus OM-10 film camera).
I'm currently using a Canon 20D, which I picked up just before heading to Berck-Sur-Mer in April, 2006. I love the monster, despite its heavy weight. It feels like a real camera and actually makes real camera clicking noises and everything! So far, I've only accumulated a few lens, but, I find I tend to stick to a 28 - 135 image stabilized zoom lens for nearly everything. Of course, its a heavy lens, so, it just makes the whole package a little heavier.
Given I spend so much time at kite festivals, many of my last few years of pictures have been taken at kite festivals, but I'm also reasonably adept at shooting bands and, well, cats. Most of my stuff has either been online in Kitelife.com or on my Flickr account. One day, I'll undertake putting a gallery within this site, but, given it's taken me three years to update it, I wouldn't hold your breath.
